
Steve V. Worthy is a cofounder of MaxWorth Benefits Group, LLC. He has been in the financial services industry for over 30 years, and throughout his career he has had extensive experience in the design and implementation of executive benefit plans including a variety of deferred compensation arrangements.
Mr. Worthy received his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration from Jacksonville State University, Jacksonville, Alabama. He completed the educational requirements and attained his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designations from the American College. Additionally, he received his Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) license from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards in 1990 through the College for Financial Planning.
Mr. Worthy has been a Guest Fellow at the Estes Park Institute, a participant in the Horty Springer and Mattern Law Firm’s regional workshops and national audio conference, a contributor to national articles, and speaker for groups such as the ACHE Congress on Healthcare Leadership and a variety of state hospital associations.
